Vibe Guiding: The Age of AI That Learns Your System and Guides Every User
*A new idea born from the Vibe Learning experiment*
It’s been over a year since I started learning Vibe Coding.
My original goal was simple — just get better at coding. But the more I worked with AI, the more a different question kept nagging at me. AI can search, analyze, summarize, and document. So why couldn’t AI take over the entire process of how humans learn something?
That question led me to Vibe Learning. And as I kept experimenting with it, a new idea emerged — the one I want to introduce today: Vibe Guiding.
🌱 Quick recap: What is Vibe Learning?
Vibe Learning is a methodology where you tell AI what you want to learn, and AI takes it from there — building a roadmap and driving the entire learning process from start to finish. The ratio is 70% hands-on practice, 30% theory. And the documentation produced along the way becomes a textbook-level manual for that topic.
You can see the results of over a year of experimentation in the VibeLearn AI GitHub Repository.
But the most interesting discovery didn’t come from the learning itself. It came from what was left behind.
💡 The insight that changed everything
The more I ran Vibe Learning experiments, the more documents accumulated. At first I thought of them simply as “study outputs.” Then one day, a different thought hit me:
“What if these documents aren’t just textbooks for humans — but perfect Context for AI?”
Give an AI a well-structured, comprehensive document about a specific topic, and that AI deeply understands it. Add information about a specific user — who they are, where they are in their journey, what they need right now — and suddenly, AI can guide that person in a way that’s tailored exactly to them.
That’s the seed of Vibe Guiding.
🧭 What is Vibe Guiding?
In one line:
Topic Context + User Information = Hyper-Personalized Automatic Guidance
Most app guides today treat everyone the same. First-time user? Here’s the tutorial. Power user? Same tutorial. Someone who just needs one specific feature right now? Still the same tutorial.
Vibe Guiding starts from the observation that the same app means something completely different to different people. So why should the guidance be the same?
Think about GPS navigation. It knows every road in the country — but it doesn’t hand you an atlas and say “figure it out.” It knows where you are right now, and tells you only the next turn you need to take.
Vibe Guiding works the same way. It understands the entire system through Vibe Learning, but it never asks users to study everything. Instead, it finds what this specific person needs right now and surfaces it proactively.
🔄 CVL: Keeping everything current, automatically
Apps change constantly. Even the best documentation goes stale if it can’t keep up with updates.
That’s where CVL (Continuous Vibe Learning) comes in. When source code changes, CVL detects it, judges whether the documentation needs updating, and refreshes it automatically. Vibe Guiding always has current information to guide users with.
The full flow looks like this:
Deploy it once, and the system runs itself. Developers and companies no longer spend time writing manuals or training guides. AI generates the documentation, keeps it fresh, and delivers it directly to users.
🚀 Why now?
Five years ago, this idea would have been science fiction. Today, it isn’t.
LLMs that genuinely understand natural language. Context systems that turn documents into structured knowledge. Tools that can parse and interpret source code. Automation that ties the whole pipeline together — for the first time, all of these pieces are in place simultaneously.
Now is the moment to build this.
That said, Vibe Guiding is still in the concept validation stage. It’s not a finished system — it’s an experiment in progress. But Vibe Learning has already demonstrated that the core approach works. The next step is extending it into guidance.
📺 I made videos explaining this
Sometimes it’s easier to see than to read. I put together videos introducing the Vibe Guiding concept — and the videos themselves were made entirely with AI. Slides built from Vibe Learning outputs, images generated with Gemini, narration created with TTS. AI in action, all the way through.
🤝 Looking for collaborators
I’ll keep sharing the progress of this experiment through the Catch Up AI channel and this Substack.
If this idea resonates with you — or if you’re interested in being one of the first to deploy a fully automated AI guidance system in your own product — reach out anytime. Just like Vibe Learning became a collaborative project, I hope Vibe Guiding will too.
“Software that teaches itself, and guides you.”
From AI that learns — to AI that leads.
